BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - A very light Friday night compared to weeks past.
The season is beginning to wind down though, this being the last regular season weekend for both Class B and D before playoffs begin a week from Saturday.
Starting with Class A, Union-Endicott will look to bounce back after that heart-breaking loss to Vestal last week when they host Johnson CIty.
And speaking of Vestal, the Golden Bears, now ranked 23rd in Class A, will travel to Alumni Stadium and take on the 3-3 Binghamton Patriots.
Three games in Class B. Owego hosting Maine-Endwell. Norwich travels to Windsor, and Waverly will take on Chenango Valley.
S-VE Candor takes on Oneonta, the lone Class C match-up.
Two Class D games Friday, #13 Tioga visits Moravia and Notre Dame hosts Groton.
Busy day Saturday though.
Two very big games on the schedule.
First, in a Class B duel, #2 Chenango Forks hosts #19 Susquehanna Valley in a highly-anticipated match-up.
Class C action, Watkins Glen/Odessa plays Lansing.
Then, a clash of #1's.
The top of Class C, Newark Valley, welcomes in the head of Class D, Sidney.
Two other ranked teams play Saturday, all in Class D.
#17 Unatego/Franklin hits the road to face Delhi and #20 Bainbridge-Guilford travels to Deposit/Hancock.
