B-Sens sign Iles to a PTO

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - While Storm Stella did postponed the Binghamton Senators Rochester game on Wednesday, the storm didn't stop the BSens from making some roster moves.

On Tuesday, Ottawa recalled goaltender Chris Driedger from the BSens.

And as a result, the BSens signed Elmira Jackals' netminder Andy Iles to a Professional Tryout.

The Ithaca native played 4 seasons at Cornell University and was the Ivy league player of the Year in 2013-2014.

Iles earned his first AHL call up just last week, when he signed a PTO with the Albany Devils.

Prior to his last call up, Iles has appeared in 35 games for the Jackals, recording an 8-20-4-1 record.

However, he's been on a hot streak as of lately.

In his last 5 appearances, he is 3-1-1-0 and has allowed just 10 goals on 163 shots, giving him a .937 save percentage.

The BSens play this Friday and Saturday in Toronto.
