Eagles Sign Mark Sanchez
Some Quarterback swapping going on in the NFL. Today The Philadephia Eagles signed former Jets Quarterback Mark Sanchez to a one year contact. This coming a week after the Jets signed Michael Vick to a reported 1 year/$15 million deal. Sanchez was the fifth overall pick in the 2009 draft. It seemed he had beat out Geno Smith for the starting job in the preseason last year but was sidelined with a shoulder injury. He had led the Jets to to the AFC Championship game in his first 2 seasons in the NFL but struggled with consistency since then. He had a league leading 52 turnovers in 2012-2013.
