The B-Mets began a three game homestand against the Richmond Flying Squirrels.

The American Idol Top 10 finalists were in attendance. They sang the national anthem and then threw out the first pitch.

Brian Burgamy picked up right where he left off and lined one to center for a stand up double.

Two batters later, Kevin Plawecki with the sac fly, Burgamy tags up to score, and the B-Mets go up one to nothing.

In the second inning, Burgamy had a chance to do more damage but grounded out with the bases loaded to end the inning.

Burgamy would bounce back in the 6th with a grand slam and Matt Bowman threw a three hitter.

B-Mets win 5 to 1.
