Burgamy Named Eastern League Player of the Week

B-Mets infielder Brian Burgamy was named Eastern League Player of the Week today thanks in large part to some powerful hitting.

Burgamy batted .500 during the stretch with three doubles, three home runs and nine RBI.

Burgamy is hitting .262 with 10 home runs in his 53 games with B-Mets this season.

The B-Mets open a three-game series against the Richmond Flying Squirrels on Tuesday night at 6:35 p.m.
