It was fall sports media day at Binghamton University as players and coaches expressed excitement about their upcoming seasons.

Women's soccer was up first on Wednesday.

The Bearcats are celebrating the ten year anniversary of their 2004 national title.

Binghamton advanced to the America East quarterfinals last season and return first-team all-conference selection Rebecca Raber and second-team pick Connie Gormley.

BU is picked to finish seventh in the America East Conference, but Head Coach Sarah McClellan says the sky is the limit for this team.

"We are really excited about this group. This is going to be a special team for us. I think we figured that out in the first couple days of preseason. Everyone is very excited about what they are seeing and how they are communicating and connecting out there on the field. The new guys it's like they have been here for a long time and the returners came in ready to play," she said.

The team has it's home and season opener against Temple on Friday. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
