Binghamton University Men's lacrosse team off to great start

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton University Men's lacrosse team is off to its best start since the 2006 season and have already matched their total wins from last season.

The 4-1 Bearcats ended nonconference play on a 3-game winning streak, and are headed to UMass Lowell for their first game of America East play on Saturday.

Even though the Bearcats have missed two practices this week due to storm stella, they are feeling confident and are ready for the intensity that comes with conference action.

"It's more intense, more upbeat, and its a lot of fun because you play these teams every year so its like a rivalry.  Bringing the intensity we've had all season is really something were looking forward to and I'm looking forward to going 1-0 in the conference and really making a statement for our name," said Senior Midfield Tyler Deluca.

The Bearcats face off against UMass Lowell at 1 p.m on Saturday.
