The Binghamton University women's basketball coaching staff took part in the Chillin4Charity national fundraiser to benefit the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.

The event, promoted by coaches throughout the Women's Basketball Coaches Association, has gained widespread attention as coaches get water dumped on them and then call out the next set of coaches to either participate or pay.

If those called out decline, they have to shell out $250. If they participate, the coach who called them out donates $50 to the fund in their name.

The cause hits home for head coach Linda Cimino.

"Any time we are raising money for a breast cancer foundation it's near and dear to my heart because my mom is a two time breast cancer survivor. The fact that the women's coaches came together and did this as an organization with the WBCA and Kay Yow foundation, to me I'm just happy and proud that we could be a part of it," said Cimino.

Some of the players wanted to participate as well.

They donated community service hours and gave their coaches an opportunity to return the favor.
