B-Mets Sweep Portland Sea Dogs

The B-Mets began their series with the Portland Sea Dogs eight games back in the division. After three straight wins they cut that number to five and were looking to make it four in the final game of the series.

It was splash day at NYSEG stadium, kids getting sprayed, but the B-Mets bats didn't get the memo. They stayed hot.

Bottom 2, Xorge Carrillo with the double down the left field line, two runs score, 2-0 B-Mets.

The Sea Dogs looking to rally in the 6th, down 4-1, Blake Swihart with the two run double off the left field wall to cut the lead to one.

But the B-Mets bats would explode in the 7th, Darrell Cecilliani with the deep two run triple to the wall. That puts the B-Mets up 7-3.

Next batter, Travis Taijeron with the RBI single and the B-Mets cruised to a dominating 13-3 win to complete the sweep.

B-Mets hit the road hit the road to start a series against the Erie SeaWolves tomorrow at 7:05 p.m.
