Two Broome County men arrested for Vestal robbery, grave marker theft

VESTAL, N.Y. - Two Broome County men were arrested for allegedly stealing from a Vestal business and from the graves of veterans.

34-year old Shane Karika of Castle Creek and 47-year old Paul Huss of Endicott have been arrested for allegedly stealing a vehicle and equipment from a business on Commerce Road in Vestal.

Both men are charged with burglary and Karika is charged with grand larceny.

During the investigation, police also discovered over 30 US Military Veteran and American Legion grave markers that are believed to be stolen.

Police expect more charges for Karika and Huss.
