Tri-Cities Airport Receives Large Federal Funding

U.S. Senators Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand have announced that Tri-Cities Airport in Endicott will receive $1.3 million in federal funding from the U.S Department of Transportation.

The funding will be used to restore the runway to ensure safer airfield operations at the airport by improving the pavement, and removing debris from the runway.

This funding is part of the the Airport Improvement Program and is administered by DOT's Federal Aviation Administration.
