Work on SUNY Broome's student housing complex is coming along. By the time it's finished later this summer there will be 85 apartments that will house 335 students. It will cost between $3,400 and $3,800 per semester. By February 10th, college officials hope to have a model available for prospective renters. Although, students are already putting down deposits.

"We're over 10 percent subscribed already. We've had an awful lot of interest. We have hundreds of inquiries already. We have 40 people who have already made their deposits, so the marketing is happening," said president Kevin Drumm.

"The suites that we have here, it's an amazing experience. We have double rooms, single rooms. I think one of the big things that they'll find is that they have a living room for the students in that suite, so there will be an opportunity for them to connect with the other five or six students that they live with. They have the kitchens," said director of housing Jeffrey Horowitz.

There will also be a skype lounge, laundry facility and fitness center. For more information log onto
