Sidney man, 28, pleads guilty to exploiting a child

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - A Sidney man has pleaded guilty to sexually exploiting a child.

28-year-old Justin Crandall of Sidney pleaded guilty on Friday in Federal Court to three counts of sexual exploitation of a 17-month old.

From December 2016 to February of this year, police say Crandall recorded video and photos of himself committing sexual acts against the child.

The evidence was found on Crandall's cell phone.

Crandall faces 15 to 30 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000 dollars.

He will be sentenced on February 18.
