Rumble Ponies alcohol-free game to be held Tuesday night

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Rumble Ponies will be serving up baseball, snacks and a good time tomorrow, but no alcohol.

Tuesday night, NYSEG Stadium will not serve any alcohol during a prevention night partnership between the team and the Broome Opioid Abuse Council Drug Free Communities program.

Water, soda, coffee and other non-alcoholic beverages will be served, creating a family-friendly environment.

It also appeals to people who are in recovery who may not ordinarily feel comfortable attending a game.

The first two proposed substance-free games were rained out.

The game begins at 6:35 p.m.
