The Rod Serling Archive will present In The Zone on Wednesday night. The focus will be Serling's war themed scripts.

Serling served and was injured fighting in the Philippines in World War II.

Four of Serling's shows will be viewed tomorrow night, including episodes that are on the Civil War, World War II, the threat of communism and one based in Vietnam.

Michael Pipher is the volunteer curator of Rod Serling Archives at the Bundy Museum. He will give a brief presentation about Serling's service and some of the things he witnessed.

After the screenings there will be a discussion.

"This program is going to definitely educate people with things they have never heard and hopefully inspire them. We really want to inspire young people today, or old, to try writing, painting, singing, anything creative that Rod Serling was all about," said Pipher.

In The Zone will take place tomorrow night at the Bundy Museum at 129 Main St. in Binghamton. It starts at 6:30 p.m. and is free.
