Preparations are underway to rehab a bridge in downtown Johnson City.

The Arch St. bridge, which crosses Olive St., Choconut Creek and the Norfolk Southern Railroad, is scheduled for a makeover. The Village and the State Department of Transportation are planning a public meeting on the project for February 27th. Village officials say they specifically want comments on development of alternates for the structure that connects Main and Brocton Streets.

The meeting will take place in the board room on the second floor of Village Hall from 6 to 7 p.m.
