Some local teens are sharing what they've learned about fitness and nutrition with younger kids.

Teen leaders from Citizen U visited the Summer Fun program at Theodore Roosevelt Elementary recently with its "Be Super, Be Healthy" program.

The event consists of eight stations, with four related to healthy eating and the other four to proper exercise. Each station is associated with a different super hero.

Teen leader Embroidry Williams said its fun working with the younger kids.

"Whole grains are really good for you. You can eat it in your daily breakfast, bagels, cereal, the main things that kids eat. We have guacamole chips that they can try and corn chips with beans that they have. And they seem to love it," said Williams.

The Citizen U teens have been traveling around the area sharing "Be Super, Be Healthy" with various Summer programs.
