Greek Peak Mountain Resort is adding another reason for people to visit in the summer with its first ever PeakFest this weekend.

An outdoor stage has been set up at the base of the beginners slope.

Tomorrow, five bands will perform including headliner Dave Mason of Traffic along with Firefall, Pure Prairie League and a couple regional acts.

Director of Sales and Marketing Kathleen Timmerman says concert goers will definitely recognize these bands' hit songs from the 70s.

"Ticket sales have been going well. And I think, with the weather, it's just going to improve it tremendously. I think people waited to see what the weather was going to do, and that made their decision to come and buy their ticket the day of," said Timmerman.

Admission tomorrow is $25.

There will also be an inflatable slide for kids, chair lift rides and discounted admission to the Adventure Center and Indoor Waterpark with ticket stub.

Tonight, a special VIP reception takes place at Trax Bar and Grill with the Jumpin Joe Whiting Band.
