OWEGO, N.Y. - A new painting studio in Owego gives people a chance to have fun while flexing their creative side.
The Party Brush is a newly opened paint and sip studio on Front Street in Owego.
Participants learn to paint a small canvas while enjoying drinks and camaraderie.
There are classes available or groups can rent the space for special events or just a fun night out.
Owner Stacey Burke has been traveling the area with these classes for the past two years and says the time is right to have her own space.
"People love it. It's a ton of fun. People love the opportunity to create art when they don't think that they can, and enjoy good times with friends, and kind of just unwind and relax. It's been a great response so far in the past two years, so I'm looking forward to growing more here in Owego," said Burke.
Burke also teaches people to paint on wine glasses and pint glasses.
She says it's a great way to spend a birthday party or shower.
Customers bring their own drinks and snacks.
To celebrate the Fall, The Party Brush is even hosting pumpkin painting classes.
You can find a list of classes on its Facebook page at facebook.com/thepartybrush/.
