Maine-Endwell schools will honor six distinguished graduates tonight.

Earlier today, they took time to talk with high schoolers about their careers.
Kelly Major graduated in 1986.

She's a professor of biology at the University of Southern Alabama.

She hoped to encourage M-E students to do well in school and never stop learning.

"I try to inspire them to embrace diversity and not only diversity in a traditional sense but in our education. That diversity fosters creativity and science is creativity," said Major.

The distinguished graduates dinner will be at the Binghamton Country Club.
