BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - A local man with an extensive criminal record is headed to prison for robbing two Endicott employees.
41 year-old Santonio Jones was sentenced to 10 years behind bars plus five years parole.
In November, a jury found him guilty of robbing two Village of Endicott workers back in May, displaying what appeared to be a handgun.
Broome County District Attorney Steve Cornwell calls Jones a career criminal with convictions for armed robbery, drug possession, assault, grand larceny, forgery, aggravated DWI, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Jones was sentenced as a second violent felony offender.
