BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - Red is also the color of Keller Williams, the real estate franchise that just celebrated a significant milestone last week.
Members of the Greater Binghamton office gathered for an announcement that Keller Williams is now #1 in size in the United States.
According to Team Leader Allison Ashley, Keller Williams now leads all of its American competition in terms of number of agents, number of properties sold and the overall financial value of those sales.
Ashley says the franchise bolsters its customer service through website postings and use of data.
"We are a technology firm that puts our customers first. We're always making sure that we're on the cutting edge of technology to make sure that homes are being marketed in the way that's going to get them sold. We also believe in great customer service. Because of those things and the wonderful people we have working here, we've had some great success," said Ashley.
Keller Williams entered the Binghamton market two years ago when McKinney Real Estate joined the national franchise.
It currently has 50 agents and focuses primarily on the residential market.
Ashley says Keller Williams, which was founded in 1983, has seen explosive growth nationally since 2011.
