A jury has been seated in the Aaron Powell murder trial.

Attorneys had selected five people to serve at the close of business yesterday. The rest were chosen today in Broome County Court.

Aaron Powell, 40, is accused of killing his estranged wife, Christina Powell, 35, and Mario Masciarelli, 24, at the Powell's home in the Town of Binghamton on Lisi Lane in March of last year.

Powell was arrested in Montrose four days after the murders.

Opening statements are scheduled for Monday morning.

The trial is expected to take about two weeks.
