BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - A former radio DJ turned blogger, promoter, and urban lifestyle cheerleader is returning to his roots and the airwaves.
Joshua B is taking over the afternoon drive shift on Wild 104 FM starting next week.
He came to Greater Binghamton over a decade ago to be a morning host on Star 105.7.
Since leaving radio, he launched BingPop a website that chronicles events going on in our area.
Joshua B also helped to start the LUMA Projection Arts Festival, Binghamton Restaurant Week, and the Martini Walk.
He says his show will have plenty of music hits that listeners love plus a little spice.
"I really want to talk about the local community, as much as I can, in a fun and irreverent way. We'll be doing a little bit of celebrity news, and I may drop in an interview here and there, some surprises, some contests. You never know what's going to happen when I'm doing afternoon drive. I really like to mix it up and I don't like to do the expected," said Joshua B.
Joshua B says he also looks forward to making public appearances on behalf of Wild 104 and meeting with fans.
His shift will be 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
