BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - A Johnson City man is facing prison time after pleading guilty to distributing child pornography.
A release from U.S. Attorney Richard Hartunian's office says Jared Flanders, 34, pled guilty in federal court in Binghamton on Friday to 12 counts of distributing child porn videos and images via the internet.
Hartunian says Flanders faces a minimum sentence of five years, and a maximum of twenty years, in prison, as well as a fine of up to $250,000, and a term of supervised release of at least 5 years and up to life.
Flanders is scheduled to be sentenced on July 19th.
