Johnson City Man Arrested for Stealing $50,000 From Eagles Club

- A Johnson City man has been arrested after police say he stole nearly $50,000 dollars from a service organization.

Johnson City Police say Earl Luedecke, 64, of the village stole about $49,000 over a three year period from the Johnson City Eagles Club.

Luedecke, who was a trustee for the club, was arraigned in village court and released.

In a statement on its Facebook page, the Johnson City Eagles Club says it is with sadness that it happened and procedures are being put in place to prevent stealing in the future.
