Kids at Horace Mann Elementary were singing their hearts out today while receiving an important message about treating each other with respect.

The school launched its Olweus anti-bullying program with a performance by local singer songwriter Jared Campbell. Campbell led the children in sing-alongs titled 'I want to be a Super Hero' and 'Do the right thing.'

As part of what he calls his Blue Project, Campbell has visited many schools in our area with his multi-media presentation. And while he caters his message to different age groups, he says all the kids get sucked into the show.

"I have found that in elementary schools especially as soon as I walk in with my guitar the kids are excited because they love music but to be able to capture that visually with the video as well its almost like they don't have anywhere else to go," said Campbell.

Campbell has a concert for all ages tonight at the Central United Methodist Church on Nanticoke in Endicott at 7 p.m.
