It replaces a 20-year-old location the credit union had on Washington Avenue in Endicott.
President and CEO Mario DiFulvio says the new location allows Horizons to offer drive through teller and ATM services, and the branch is much larger inside.
DiFulvio says Horizons made the move to better serve its 12,000 members.
"Our philosophy is friendly, personal service. I'm president of Horizons and I get involved in the day-to-day operation. If there's an issue, we go above and beyond to try to help our member," said DiFulvio.
DiFulvio says Horizons is currently offering a special low rate on auto loans: 1.89 percent. And it's planning to start offering special low-fee mortgages and student loans.
Horizons also has branches on Main St. in Binghamton, the Campus Plaza in Vestal and a small office at the Binghamton Housing Authority on Exchange St.
