As of now it's still scheduled to start on September 15.
However, Harris's defense team is seeking more time to prepare.
A representative from the Schoharie County Court, where the trial will be held this time, told us as of now the trial date has not been moved. But, by next week, a new date could be set, possibly for mid-October.
Harris, a Southern Tier businessman, has been convicted twice of murdering his wife Michele, although the first conviction was thrown out after a post-trial witness came forward.
Harris successfully appealed the 2nd jury verdict.
Michele's body has never been found.
She was last seen September 11, 2001 leaving her waitressing job in Waverly.
