The sound of jazz, as interpreted by French musicians, will be featured throughout Greater Binghamton over the next week.

Twenty musicians from Binghamton's sister city La Teste-de-Buch, France are here for a ten day stay.

Aside from taking in traditional tourist sites here and in New York City and Niagara Falls, the group's band Test'UT will perform in a variety of concerts.

The band plays music ranging from the 50's to the jazz sounds of today. They'll also be collaborating with local jazz musicians.

Alto saxophone player Jeremy Rieussec said sharing music enriches the cultural exchange.

"We knew we we're going to have clinics with Jazz instructors so I was really looking forward to this, and also visiting the country. You know Binghamton, New York City and getting to know American culture," he said.

The band's previously scheduled concert for Tuesday night has been moved to the Oakdale Mall due to the rain.

Test'UT will also perform at Arnold Park in Vestal on Thursday at 7 p.m. and at Rec Park in Binghamton next Monday at 6 p.m.
