First Ward bar liquor license revoked

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - A bar in Binghamton's First Ward can no longer serve alcohol for at least two years.

The New York State Liquor Authority has revoked the liquor license at T. Mulligans Food and Spirits located at 58 Clinton Street in Binghamton.

According to a letter sent by New York State to owner Thomas Dehaven, T. Mulligans was considered a focal point for Binghamton Police due to noise and altercations from October 2015 to June of 2016.

In addition, it was noted that T. Mulligans did not employ security guards as part of a requirement, failed to keep adequate business records, and sold drinks to underage customers.

The liquor license cannot be re-issued for at least two years.
