ENDICOTT, N.Y. - With the school year in full swing, an Endicott elementary school welcomed in a famous group of professional gymnasts.
Charles F. Johnson Elementary school welcomed the ZuZu African Acrobats for a show in their auditorium.
Originally from Kenya, the group travels around the world displaying their choreography.
ZuZu became popular on the NBC show America's Got Talent.
Their performance includes dancing, flips, human pyramids, jumping rope, and acrobatic routines accompanied by upbeat African music.
CFJ Principal Alicia Boyce says students can see first hand what it's like to reach for the stars.
"I am a huge fan of people that set high goals, aspiring them and achieving them. I believe that hard work allows people to achieve their dreams. It's wonderful for our students to have an opportunity to see people at this level," said Boyce.
The group also held a limbo contest with the kids before showing off their own skills.
Some of the choreography is inspired by traditional dances that have been passed down for generations.
