Make-A-Wish and Dunkin Donuts have teamed up to help seriously ill children and make their dreams come true.

Starting today and going through next Wednesday, Dunkin Donuts customers who donate $1 to Make-A-Wish will get a star-shaped donut with icing and bavarian filling

Last year, the fundraising effort brought in $40,000 for Make-A-Wish of Central New York.

"The more we do to raise money, the more kids we can help and we'll be able to get that special treatment and put a smile on their face during their treatment. It's an exceptional foundation," said Wish Mom and volunteer Beth Shumaker.
