It will be held at CFJ Park, near the Wal-Mart.
In addition to the carousel rides, there will be art and craft vendors, live music including the Scott Freeman Band and singer-song writer Johnny Only, food, history lessons with memorabilia, a juggler and more.
People can also take rides on the trackless train called the Roaming Railroad that will go throughout CFJ Park. The national convention of the Carousel Modelers and Miniatures Association will also be on hand to show of their carousel replicas.
The organization Johnson City Partners hosts the event.
"It is a community building activity. However, we are supported throughout Broome County and we want everyone in Broome County to feel welcome to come and enjoy this event," said Julie Deemie.
Carousel Day is this Saturday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
It is free to attend. If you want to take a ride on the Roaming Railroad, the cost is $3.
