The matriarch of the Jones family of professional athletes has died.
Camille Jones, of Endicott, passed away on Sunday at age 55 due to complications from diabetes.
She and her husband, Reverend Arthur Jones, raised 4 children, 3 of whom play professional sports.
AJ and Chandler are defensive linemen in the NFL and Jon is a mixed martial arts fighter.
Their daughter Carmen died from a brain tumor in 2002.
Camille was very active in the community, even after losing her eyesight to diabetes 6 years ago.
This Friday, there will be a memorial for Camille at 5 p.m. during the Women's Convention of the Church of God in Christ taking place at Sarah Jane Johnson Memorial Church in JC.
