BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - ServiceMaster by Burch is the Greater Binghamton Chamber's Business of the Week.
Founded in 1993 in Otego, New York, the disaster restoration company originally served customers in Otsego and Delaware Counties but has since expanded its coverage area to include Broome, Chenango and Tioga.
It also has a second office in Chenango Bridge.
ServiceMaster cleans up after fires, furnace malfunctions and water damage and performs mold remediation and carpet cleaning.
As a family business, 7 siblings now work for the company.
President Tara LeBourveau says they treat other people's homes as if they were their own.
"We care about their things, we care about their homes, we want them to feel calm and know that they can just hand over the reins to us. When we come in, we're going to take care of it, we're going to put their house back to better than it was before," said LeBourveau,
LeBourveau says the company mostly relies on word of mouth advertising from satisfied customers.
