ENDWELL, N.Y. - A former Endwell bar will reopen with the same management, but a new name.
Bobby Larnerd, the former owner of Bobby's Place, will be reopening the location as "ThePub@North&Main."
Larnerd first opened Bobby's in March of 2008 and it closed in 2014 after Larnerd says he made some mistakes and was not following through on portions of the business.
He says he's learned from his those mistakes and is looking to pack a crowd in the new bar.
Larnerd has been cleaning out the building for the past month and says ThePub@North&Main will be similar to Bobby's with some variations to the layout and menu.
Above all, he can't wait to see customers old and new.
"It's a good feeling. I had some amazing customers and I miss them dearly. I can't wait to do this again. And, I want people to know that my kitchen will be open until we close," he said.
Larnerd says he could no longer use the name "Bobby's" but prefers the new name because of its simplicity.
He's still waiting for the liquor license and health permits, but Larnerd expects to be open anywhere from two weeks to a month from now.
