Binghamton University freshman 'died accidentally' off campus

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - A Binghamton University student died 'accidentally' off campus on Saturday, according to the school.

A statement from Binghamton University reads:

"Binghamton University President Harvey Stenger is saddened to announce that Conor Donnelly, a Binghamton University freshman from Pearl River, N.Y., died accidentally Saturday, March 18, while off campus. Binghamton Police are investigating and no other details are available at this time.

It is always difficult to lose someone, Stenger said, but it is especially difficult to lose a young member of our campus community so suddenly.

Staff from the University Counseling Center (UCC) is available in UU-215 today for students who are affected by this death and wish to speak with someone. During normal business hours, the UCC can be reached by calling 607-777-2772."
