More than 40 companies gathered at the SUNY Broome Ice Rink today for the 2014 Greater Binghamton Career Fair.

Leonard Bus Sales, Frito Lay, United Health Services, and Datum Alloys were just a few of the businesses here looking for workers.

Tim Whitmore is a representative for Datum, which provides stainless steel to companies who need, including ones who produce printed circuit boards.

Datum is a global company, being in the United Kingdom and Singapore.

It has been in the United States for about three years and has its local base in Endicott.

"The idea is to really grow the business. So, we have a couple of opportunities available in the warehouse that we're looking for, but more importantly, as we grow the business, we'll require more people and different skill sets. I want to make sure that I get a good feel of what's happening in the talent pool," said Whitmore.
