Ben Bailey of 'Cash Cab' to headline Binghamton Comedy Crawl

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - Local comedians will be feeding your funny bone on April Fools Day.

The 2nd annual Binghamton Comedy Crawl takes place on April 1st at four venues around Downtown Binghamton.

It includes a free show at Water Street Brewing Company along with comedy sets at three other venues - Terra Cotta, Atomic Tom's and the DoubleTree Hotel.

It features nice local and regional comics with headliner Ben Bailey, the Emmy Award winning host of the game show Cash Cab.

Wristbands that get you into all shows cost $25 and can be purchased on the event's Kickstarter fundraising page.

Organizers say attendees will get more than their money's worth.

"We started the Kickstarter where you can get wristbands for $25. You'd pay that alone to see Ben Bailey perform in the City. You're getting 9 comedians plus for that price," said Giordi De Angelo.

"It's not going to be a good show, it's going to be a bunch of great shows. We have 4 or 5 venues altogether when you include the after party," said Comedian Michael Ciurzynski.

Currently, the campaign has raised over $3,600, with less than 100 wristbands left.

Kickstarter perks include having a comedian tell a joke you've written, having comics write a funny song about you and even getting to go on stage to perform your own 5-minute set during the Comedy Crawl.
