Baked Euphoria in Endwell received a makeover by Buddy Valastro, star of Cake Boss, for its spin-off show Bakery Boss on TLC. Valastro and a crew of producers visited the tore on Watson Boulevard in September to offer advice and help in making the business profitable.

Baked Euphoria owner Bonni Stacconi Phelps says she's restricted on what she can reveal, but the show did provide her with a new logo, interior décor and equipment for the kitchen. Phelps says despite having won awards for her baking, having Valastro approve of her products gave her a boost.

"Now, my confidence level is that I'm just as good. I can wear this jacket now. I can say that we're full-fledged bakers. And I can say that with the utmost confidence that we're as good as we say we are," said Phelps.

Phelps says the producers tried to manipulate her and her staff to manufacture drama. She expects to be portrayed as disengaged and absent, which she denies. Nevertheless, she's grateful for the experience, assistance and added attention it's brought.

Bakery Boss airs Monday at 10 p.m. on TLC.
