Job Description

ENSCO Avionics, Inc. has exciting opportunities for software engineers to join our safety critical, full lifecycle, software development and verification team. This is an opportunity to be part of a talented team that supports development, verification, and certification activities for major avionics commercial and military platforms. Responsibilities may include writing high and low level software requirements, developing avionics software against requirements, developing requirements based test cases and procedures (normal and robustness), performing verification reviews, executing procedures in simulated and/or target test environments, and conducting activities such as requirements coverage, structural coverage, scheduling and call tree, data and control coupling, stack usage, timing and throughput, memory usage, and source to object code analyses. Work may be performed on the following configurations: PC/Windows, Test Equipment/Stands, various HW/SW integration test target environments. Qualifications Required (Skills)

• Minimum of 3 years of post-college work experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience developing or testing Flight Management Avionics software
• Experience with Ada and/or C/C++
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working in a process driven team environment
• High level of professionalism, work ethic, and attention to detail and quality
• Familiar with requirements based testing

General Education/Years of Experience

• BS or equivalent
• min 3 years relevant experience

Qualifications Desired

• Embedded Software Development experience
• Experience with DOORs, Synergy, and Dimensions
• Experience with Low Level and/or integration testing
• Experience with test tools such as LDRA and VectorCast
• Experience with Hardware/Software integration testing on test stands
• Experience developing and testing to DO-178 standards
