It's a Desperate Housewives reunion!
Eva Longoria has been tapped to guest-star on NBC's upcoming fall comedy Welcome to the Family, Deadline.com reports. Longoria will reunite with her longtime Desperate co-star Ricardo Chavira, who played her onscreen husband.
The series follows a white family (Mike O'Malley and Mary McCormack) and a Latino family (Chavira and Justina Machado) who bond when their children (Ella Rae Peck and Joey Haro) fall in love and plan a family. Longoria will play Ms. Nunez, an English teacher who shares a romantic past with Chavira's character from before he was married.
The appearance marks Longoria's first scripted series role since Desperate Housewives wrapped in May 2012. She currently serves as an executive producer on Devious Maids.
