The Susquenango Sail & Power Squadron has scheduled safe boating education classes each Monday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. beginning today until April 7th. A new law effective May 1st requires all individuals born on or after 5/1/96 to successfully complete an approved boater education course in order to operate a motorboat. Tioga Arts Council's 2nd annual collaborative art event! is open to creatives of all ages and skill levels. Use ANY medium to make a piece that measures 7" square, donate your artwork to Tioga Arts Council (TAC), and then come see the exhibition and buy original artwork for your walls! All artworks will be exhibited in Tioga Arts Council's Gallery during the entire month of April and each piece will be available for a $20 donation. TAC will be open 10 am - 5 pm on Saturdays for the whole month of April. There is no fee to enter and all proceeds will benefit the programs at Tioga Arts Council. The deadline for entries is today and the exhibition opens on April 1st. A reception will be held as part of Owego's 1st Friday ArtWalk on April 4th from 5 to 8 p.m. Tioga Arts Council is open Monday-Thursday, 9 AM- 4 PM and Friday, 9 AM - 8 PM.
